We are delighted to announce that Dublin Instrumental four-piece Alarmist have joined our roster and are going to be releasing an EP in August. To say we are excited would be an understatement. Read on….
SquareD Management are thrilled to announce that Dublin’s finest multi-instrumentalists Alarmist are set to release their self titled debut EP on Irish Indie label ElevenEleven.
The EP itself is five glorious tracks of tightly wound melodies, interlocking guitars pulsating rhythms, luscious electronics and duelling percussion. The release dates for your calendar are, digital release on August 19th and physical release on August 26th.
Initially known for their stunning live shows, Alarmist have quickly developed quite a large underground fan-base. After playing to huge audiences a little off the beaten track in local art space Block T, word rapidly spread about the band and their live settings which pairs music with live improvised visuals, creating quite an experience for the dedicated gig goer.
They have already been cited as “ones to watch in 2011” on State.ie and on raggedwords.com and played as part of the Ones To Watch Festival in Whelan’s, Dublin in January.
Now that the EP is recorded we shall be announcing some live shows in the next couple of weeks, where you be able to catch Alarmist in both Ireland and in the UK.
